Two Catios Connected by a Tunnel System
To provide the ultimate outdoor experience for their cats, we built two separate catios connected by a cleverly designed tunnel system in Yuma, Arizona. The tunnel allows the cats to freely explore both spaces, giving them the freedom to roam, climb, and play in a safe, enclosed environment. To make access easy for the cats, we included a window entry point that lets them move from indoors to their outdoor paradise with ease.
Built to Last with Pressure-Treated Lumber
Durability and quality were top priorities for this custom catio build in Yuma, Arizona. We used pressure-treated lumber for the structure to ensure it can withstand Yuma’s intense desert sun and other elements. This sturdy framework guarantees that the enclosures will be a long-lasting retreat for our clients’ feline companions.
Human-Sized Doors for Convenience
Each enclosure was equipped with a human-sized door to make it easy for the clients to enter and interact with their cats, clean the space, and make any future adjustments. These doors are both functional and secure, providing peace of mind while allowing for easy access to the catios in Arizona.
Interior Fun: Staggered Shelves and Ramps
The interior of each catio enclosure was designed with the cats’ natural instincts in mind. We included staggered shelves that range from low to high, encouraging climbing and exploring. To make the space even more accessible, we added ramps leading to the higher shelves. This design ensures that cats of all ages and agility levels can enjoy these custom-built catios in Yuma.
Stylish Protection with a Flat-Panel Red Metal Roof
To provide shade and protection from the elements, we installed a flat-panel metal roof in a vibrant red color. This not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the catios in Yuma, Arizona but also ensures that the space stays cooler and more comfortable, even during Yuma’s hot summer days.
This project reflects Cat Topia’s commitment to creating custom-built catios in Arizona where cats can safely enjoy the outdoors while their owners benefit from a practical and stylish design. We’re thrilled with how these two connected catios in Yuma turned out, and we hope the cats in Yuma are loving their new adventure zones as much as we enjoyed building them!
